Frithuric: Busy season is coming up, although I suppose people involved in the last reign have been busy for a while, and many are also involved with the next reign.

This Wednesday is the 3rd anniversary of the monthly practice tournament. This tournament is also a memorial tournament for Marcus Aurelius Pansa. The tournament will also be rebranded to the Gryphon and Flower. If you would like an explanation for the change free free to ask.

Guilds:
Needleworkers Lord Donato Favro
Meeting this coming Wednesday, the 8th, in Framingham. I am also sending out a request for feedback on where and when to hold meetings.
Foresters: Darereca Meeting on the 16th of this month in Leicester. We will be doing tree identification. Information on gatherings will be going up on the Baronial calendar.
Events:
Dinner and Dancing with the Duchess: Deirdre Greenwoode
Mar 7th. We ended up about $1200 in the red. We had just under 100 people there, people liked the slow meal with dancing format. We also haven’t had a feast in the barony for quite a while. People seemed to enjoy.
Otters Welcome: Thorfinn
Movement from the last council meeting. The site has been secured. The event is on the website, June 6th. Emails have been sent out for general volunteers, gate volunteers, someone to help with A&S. Champs for A&S and Heavy will be there. Also and A&S display. I’ve been in communication with most of the martial officers. If you havent been contacted please reach out. I will be contacting Foresters and Historical gaming shortly. The event is donation only, so gate is relatively straightforward.
Valerian: I talked with Arlyana and the kingdom, and we can do donations through paypal. I have the form into the kingdom, so as soon as we hear back we can move forward.

Sugawara: Thorfinn do we have a merchant coordinator yet?
T: No, we do not. Eadgyth has agreed to host a yardsale event, but we could still use a merchant coordinator.
Valerian: We don’t really need a merchant coordinator, it’s really just a matter of knowing who’s going to be there.
S: I do have someone interested, so I will send them your way.
?Advertising Plan
Valerian: Thorfinn had to drop off, but he does have a plan for social media advertising and other activities.
Meg: I think we want to advertise beyond social media. If you would like people to put up flyers at colleges, I work at one.
Eadgyth: If you make up a flyer and make it available, people can put it up various places.
Falling Leaves: Meg Reardon
No real update at this point. My team is generally in place, although I don’t have a merchant coordinator. I believe insurance has been sorted. We will have equestrian although it’s not the championships.
S: I will have someone from the Merchant’s guild contact you as coordinator.
Arlyanna: There are funds available to assist with equestrian insurance if we are interested. It pays after the event.
Sugawara: Send nominations or letters of intent for Baronial heirs to myself. We will also need an investiture after falling leaves.
SCA Announcements:
Peter the Red is going to be elevated to the Order of the Mark at Balfars on the 18th. On the 19th their will be a gathering at our house to celebrate.
Frithuric: The Harvard art museum has a Celtic Art Exhibit for the next several months. I floated the idea on FB for a group visit, keep an eye out for that.
Donato: Discord would also be very useful.
