Meeting Held August 31st due to Falling Leaves.
Coronets Nobildonna Fiore Leonetta Bardi and Lord Frithuric Ulman:
Frithuric: August is done, I did half of Pennsic. By Pennsic next year I am looking forward to having little or no responsibilities. Thanks to everyone who volunteers. Looking forward to Falling Leaves. Congratulations to Pandaulf. Out beach social got rained out so we did a bowling social. We’re looking forward to having a couple of other social events before we step down.
Officers:
Seneschal Lady Sugawara no Naeme
Welcome to the September Council Meeting. It should be a fairly short meeting.
For the polling, I have an update. I finally have the addresses. I have been in discussion with Ksen to do an in person polling at gate at Falling Leaves. Still checking on the details.
Eadgyth: How would confidentially of ballots be maintained at that operation at gate.
S: There will be a private corner to fill out the ballot, and the forms will go in an envelope or envelopes.
I am requesting Sept 5th to Oct 4th for polling. I’m hoping we’ll get 50% at Falling Leaves.
Eadgyth: Why just 30 days?
S: Can we do it for longer?
Eadgyth: By kingdom law, we’re allowed up to 45 days. That would allow us to extend through the October Great Council Meeting.
S: I will look into that.
Frithuric: On the other hand, we’re a month past the original planned date.
Arlyana: Would it be possible to pick up ballots for family members who won’t be there?
S: For family, it should be possible.
Cathain: We need about a hundred responses.
Pandaulf: If it were a contested election, I would worry about picking up for family members, but I’m not here.
S: We need a baronial herald.
Donato: I might be able to step up.
Our next great council will be Oct 5th.

Chatelaine Master Justin de Coeur – Pandaulf speaking for
The chatelaine is busy, as there is a brand new baby.
We had a demo about three weeks ago. Fan Expo Boston happened, the timing was terrible, but it went well. We got a lot of help from a lot of different people, both newcomers and older who haven’t been around in a bit. We had about 15-20 people for the entire weekend. About 600 people came through the area, and maybe as many looking in as they walked by. We’ll see how many new members we get, so it was a success. It’s like that this will happen again next year, at a different time. We’re sort of an odd niche for them, but it works for us.
The next demo is the Bow Market Renn Faire, it will be Nov 7th. We are more front and center this year than last, and we were already front and center last year. We will have the main courtyard for most of the day for fighting and fencing. This year we’ve been handed the entire upstairs from remnant brewery to hold a small university. They want it to be a ticketed event, this needs to be discussed with Chatelaine, Seneschal, and Kingdom so we don’t violate kingdom/society law. While it’s not as big as FanExpo, last year brought in thousands of people. An announcement will come out shortly, and will include a link to volunteer. We used google chat to organize fan expo, and will likely repeat that use for this event.
Donato: Do they have a place for fire?
Pandaulf: Probably not, it’s a tight space.
