At Great Council this month, since we are trying to ramp up our event schedule, I suggested that we restart the Autocrat’s Roundtable. This is an old Carolingian tradition: a periodic get-together to talk about how to run events. There was a lot of interest, so let’s give this a try!
For this inaugural session, we’ll leave the topic open. We’ll discuss the various sorts of events, and the broad strokes of how to run them. Any and all questions are specifically encouraged. At later meetings, we’ll focus on specific topics and specific kinds of events.
All who are potentially interested in running or co-running events are specifically invited — no prior autocratting experience required, and attending doesn’t commit you to anything. If it sounds like it might be fun, come on by!
