Join us for our delayed June gathering of the Royal Foresters of Carolingia. This is a free informal backyard gathering hosted by Peter the Red & Arlyana van Wyck (94 Laurelwood Drive, Carlisle MA),
* Come in forester garb if you have it, other medieval garb if you don’t, and modern clothes if you don’t have that…just come!
* We’ll continue to practice skills like fire-starting and outdoor cooking.
* We can do a little foraging walk around the yard, identifying wild edibles.
* We can also discuss your progression as a forester, what goes into a forester’s kit, and any obstacles in your path to advancement.
WHAT TO BRING:
* If you want to be comfortable: camp chair, sun lotion, bug spray
* if you want to cook: a portable fire pit, your cooking ingredients, and cookware
* if you want to eat: feast gear, food for yourself or to share
* if you need busy hands: that project you’re working on…how are those shoes coming along?
