We are in search of a new Chancellor Minor! Sadly, our wonderful Theo has had to return to Malagentia, and so we are in search of a gentle who wishes to work with the Youth of our Barony. Please emailseneschal@carolingia.eastkingdom.org to apply. The chancellor minor also speaks for the order of the comet until such time as the members are able to take over the role.
The Chancellor minor is responsible for promoting children’s activities at events and in the Barony. They are a warranted and background checked position.

As of March 1, the east kingdom no longer has ANY covid regulations. Site owners, including homeowners, may require masking. We can encourage masking, but not require it.
Aaradyn will be purchasing an air purifier for Baronial use.
It may also be worth asking individuals to bring some to events if available.
We could also have a build event for Rosenthal Boxes.
Frithuric: Please consider the logistics of storing these before building to many for the Barony.

Gold key had talked at an event in the fall about sorting and down selecting gold key, as it is currently too much to manage effectively. Qunitavia’s gold key supplies have suffered a mishap, and they would be interested in taking exccess items if available. For space reasons, the sorting will wait until warm weather.

Events:
50 Year: The Autocrat Team did meet this past month, no particular updates, but things are moving forward.
Aaradyn: A reminder that we currently have only one event on the calendar right now. Please feel to bid for Otter’s Welcome, or various championships.
Cathain: Viz has offered to autocrat an event at the German Club for Valerian’s elevation.
Aaradyn: We need to have a bid to move forward with this.
General announcements:
- I’m dayboard head for Rapier Champs that our neighbor Quintavia is running on Saturday February 18th. If anyone wants to help there will be THREE opportunities to lend a hand!
The first opportunity will be Sunday February 12th from 1:30-4:30 pm at the Camelot (Common House Kitchen). We will be rolling out dough, cutting it to shape and filling it for 100-200 empanaditas. I will have premade the dough and fillings.
The second opportunity to help will be Friday February 17th from 10am-2pm at my house. We will be turning carrots and cucumbers into sticks and packaging up olives and hummus into tiny containers.
The third opportunity is at the event 11-12pm getting the lunches in their boxes and then 1:30-2:30 for any clean up needed.
If you’d like to help please contact me privately and tell me which date(s) you want to help with and I will provide address as needed.
Fiore: The amount of research for my scroll text was extremely awesome, and thank you to everyone who volunteered and assisted with my elevation. I can’t thank you enough.
Arlyana: We are planning to start a foresters guild. We have made an application to start a chapter in Carolingia, more information will be forthcoming. Lady Ella will spearhead this. The Forester’s guild studies medieval forest activities, etc.
