Events:
Symon of Barsnsdale: East Kingdom Rapier Championships are coming in February. Dierdre Greenwoode is in charge of food, and is looking for assitance in pre-prep for the food.
50 Year:
There will be an A&S display/Moon’s challenge at 50 year. Members of the order should be considering what to do to challenge our artisans.
Asea Feillin: Quintavia bid and were accepted for their highnesses, and will be in March 2023. This avoids all holidays except Ramadan (sorry). Quintavia is looking for people who would like to help out in any category. Especially dayboard. This will be at the same site as Brennan and Caillean 3. The site is accessible, and there will be better signage for the elevator and such. There is a parking garage so parking is plentiful. At this time masking requirements are uncertain, the site is being asked, and kingdom policy is set to expire prior to the event.
Aradyn: At present, we do not have a bid for Otter’s welcome. If someone would like to step up to run this event, there is extensive support available from former autocrats and others.
General announcements:
Tasha Medvedeva: Build a bow workshop is still going to happen, Tasha will be meeting shortly with the maker space to do prototype development. Hopefully there will be an actual build day in March. We also have an offer of plastic armor from Dark Armory for $110. It’s not very attractive but is cheap and easily covered. There is an indoor martial practice in Port Jervis, NY, Tasha will be there to talk up combat archery.
Arisia: Bivalent booster no later than Jan 3 is required, and confirmation must be sent to Arisia.
