Officers:
Seneschal Lady Kassandra Aiantide:
A truly excellent candidate has come forward for the Seneschal position, and I am working with her to make sure she understands the position. Thank you Aaradyn! We will hold the Council vote for the position at August Council. There will be a Q&A session at that time as well.
Our Secretary is tonight in far away Baton Rouge, so Donato Favro has agreed to step into the role for the evening. Thank you Donato!
Their Excellencies Master Thomas of Effingham and Mistress Raziya bint Rusa:
Nothing to Report
Baronial Heirs Nobildonna Fiore Leonetta Bardi and Lord Frithuric Ulman:
Thank you for those already volunteered to assist the incoming Baronage, more volunteers are still needed. Don’t worry about your specific skills. Tenure will be Florentine, so Italian themes.
Their Nextellencies will be kicking off the Baronial Ice Cream Parlor tour on Fri Jul 23, at Lizzy’s in Waltham. Further dates forthcoming. A Facebook event will be created and it will be added to the Baronial Calendar.
50 Year had been planned pre-pandemic, however it was put on hold, and Symon is no longer available to proceed with it. Please consider stepping up and proposing new sites/dates/etc. Tentatively late spring/summer 2022, but flexibility exists. Contact the Baronage, the heirs, the Seneschal, etc if you are interested.
Katla of Viborg will be serving as Castellano (Chief of Staff), for Their Nextellencies.
Please consider proposing and volunteering to get more local events on the calendar as we come out of pandemic mode.
Chancellor Minor Nobildonna Fiore Leonetta Bardi:
Theo of Carolingia is volunteering to step up as Chancellor Minor as Fiore assumes the Baronage. Theo is relatively new to the society, but has experience with summer camps and similar. A new deputy is also needed as Arngeir Refskegg is likewise stepping down to take up other duties.

Carolingian Heraldic Office Hours for July are tomorrow, July 12th at 6:30pm. Feel free to come and talk about Known World Heralds and Scribes.
Historian: Aaradyn Ghyoot (Deputy) speaking for Mistress Eowyn Eilownwy: Assuming Aradyn is confirmed as Seneschal, she will be stepping down as deputy historian. A replacement deputy is desired, and needs to be sufficiently tech savvy to deal with scanning and matching files to existing protocols to continue the scanning of existing archives.
Physical archives have been scaled back to 23 boxes. It is expected that about 12 boxes of physical records will remain once the cleanout is completed. The ideal goal is to transfer the archives to archival quality stackable boxes (airtight/bug tight), etc, this will greatly improve the flexibility of storage for the future.
As the clean out is completed a list of redundant or otherwise unneeded items will be provided to the populace. These items will be available for pickup for a limited time if any individual wishes them for their own records. They will include items such as Pikestaff and Tournaments illuminated that are not Carolingia specific, and are readily available through other archives.
Heavy List speaking for Baron Valerian of Somerset:
Practice in Framingham has resumed.
Archery Master Peter the Red:
There is an ongoing Consuls Youth Challenge for archery, put forth by Peter the Red. Peter is extending this to persons of all ages who wish to receive a token from him.
