Events:

Otters Nobildonna Fiore Leonetta Bardi Welcome is happening on May 20th. We are still looking for a parking coordinator. Please let Fiore or Ysabel know. We need volunteers for Gold Key and ambassadors. We also need people to show off the things they love to do, so please show up.
If anyone has access to Suffolk, Welsely or Northeastern, please contact Fiore, as she has been unable to poster on those campuses.

Ysabel: Someone is needed to transport archery equipment from Carlisle to the site (pickup truck sized vehicle). Christine volunteered.

If you know you’re going, please pre-reg, as it makes planning easier.

Rapier Champs Baron Frithuric Ulman No pre-registerations, come on June 10th, and have fun. The cost of the site is up a bit, but the insurance certificate is still valid, and offsets the difference. Some lawn games will also be present. Plymouth Church in Framingham. There is no dayboard at present, bring your own lunch. There are places nearby for food. There may be a cookout at their excellencies after the event. Details forthcoming.

50 Year: Katla of Vyborg: The page is being updated, there will be a website set up in the near future to provide more detail. There will be a hafla and pas de armes. We will have portajohns in addition to the restrooms.

Fortunata: The Order of the Moon will be hosting a Moon Prize Tourney, give it your best try, no Rubric. Moons may throw a challenger, and should have it in by June 8th so there is time for the populace to join them.

Announcments:

Low Company meeting Friday may 10th.

Question: Is there a gryphon rose tourney coming up. Yes, there will be one this month, but it hasn’t been confirmed which practice. The date will be confirmed this week.

Ysabel: What is a Gryphon Rose Tourney.

Frithuric: In about 2010-2013 a knight in Richmond, VA started a tournament called the Cross and Lily. It was to train specifically in tournaments, and presented the rose award to the most Chivalrous fighter. The decision was to do a similar tournament here, with the Gryphon being the fighting award, and the Rose for the most Chivalrous fighter.
